Visitation-New Guidance Update

November 2021

New guidance has been received regarding visitation in long-term care. ?VVRNC is pleased to offer expanded visitation with the parameters below.

Please review carefully and play it safe for the residents? well-being!

The transmission rate for Lycoming County is 17.8% for the week of 11/29/21!

Here are the parameters when visiting:

  • Please wear a mask when entering the facility; you will be provided with an appropriate mask once you have screened in
  • Do not visit if you are ill or have been exposed to COVID-19.
  • Visits do not need to be scheduled and may occur any day of the week and length of visit is not restricted.
  • If you come before or after the time of reception desk hours, please ring the bell to the right of the main entrance door.
  • Must screen in at the kiosk PRIOR to your visit and sign out when leaving the facility – Please ask for assistance when exiting the building.
  • MUST WEAR THE NAME TAG THAT YOU RECEIVE AT KIOSK SCREENING.
  • Visits may occur in the resident room or lobby area.
  • Must socially distance, always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), pull privacy curtain in the room, and may not walk the halls.
  • Please respect mealtimes ? 7:00 a.m. ? 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • During an outbreak or if exposure occurs, unvaccinated residents? visits must occur in the room.
  • Groups of three (3) or more visitors will need to visit in a designated area; please call ahead to discuss.

Please keep in mind the risk that you take when coming to visit and taking residents outside the facility on a Leave Of Absence (LOA) or social outing.? Please notify the Therapy Department for LOA training!

Vaccination is strongly encouraged.
